The Clinical Counsellor at DIVERSEcity's Community Action Initiative is tasked with providing comprehensive mental health support, including crisis intervention and ongoing care. Collaborating with a range of health professionals, you will create individualized treatment plans that reflect the needs of your clients and their families. Your role will focus on enhancing community ties and promoting mental well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized care plans
• Respond to crises with safety planning and intervention
• Provide group and family support sessions as appropriate
• Keep accurate records and documentation for client services
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions regularly
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in a relevant mental health field
• Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) designation is essential
• Minimum of two years related clinical experience
• Proficient in Dari or Farsi for effective communication
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle
