Become an integral player at GDI Ainsworth as a Security Projects Specialist. Drive team-oriented efforts in security system projects focusing on design, programming, and comprehensive training.
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you’ll engage with both clients and internal teams to ensure that every security installation meets project standards and client specifications. With a minimum of five years’ experience in the security industry, you’ll lead in using advanced tools for designing layouts and programming security systems, while building positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with project teams from concepts to completion
• Utilize AutoCAD and Visio for engineering layout creation
• Select security materials while ensuring code compliance
• Develop and implement effective commissioning protocols
• Program and test security system components for top performance
Requirements:
• Degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years in Security System Design and Commissioning
• Understanding of relevant building codes and standards
• Strong technical and financial communication abilities
• Valid Driver's License; bilingual skills are an asset
