Join Our Team as a Warehouse Technician At National Seating & Mobility (NSM) , every repair, installation, and adjustment you make helps someone live a more independent life.
We provide customized mobility and accessibility equipment for children, adults, and seniors. From wheelchairs and hospital beds to ceiling lifts, ramps, and stairlifts, our technicians are trusted experts who help people safely navigate their daily lives.
No two days are the same, and every day you can go home knowing your work had a meaningful impact.
What You'll Do Shipping & Receiving Ship and receive multiple shipments of medical equipment from suppliers for stock and customer special orders using various inventory tracking and shipping software tools.
Prepare and receive transfers of equipment from other National Seating & Mobility (NSM) locations.
Notify Customer service Representatives and Seating & Mobility Specialists when items have arrived.
Report damage, discrepancies upon receipt to manager.
Create shipping orders and labels.
Assist in the receipt, processing and unpacking of inventory.
Process Mobility Devices and Equipment Put inventory away in the warehouse in a timely manner
Organize the warehouse to ensure efficiency
Examine equipment returned from rental for damage or missing components
Clean and disinfect equipment returned from rental or demonstration
Track down medical equipment for customers from our other locations
Assemble motorized beds, lift out chairs, commodes, and other home medical devices
Additional Support Participate in monthly workplace H&S; inspection
Cleaning duties: floor, high rack frames, etc.



Outside clearance of snow as required
Remove cardboard and bagged garbage from the warehouse
Add and remove products as directed
Assist sales or service personnel as needed
Assist the other technicians with parts and other medical equipment stocks
Learn new products to help identify equipment and components by attending in-store training sessions.
Health & Safety Awareness of public safety and security measures in place to prevent injuries
Understand how to dispose of hazardous waste materials in a secure manner
Other duties as assigned that include inventory or any other task.
What We are Looking For We are not looking for medical experience—we are looking for mechanical ability, curiosity, and a great attitude.
You will be successful if you:
Basic mathematical skills
Regularly manipulate items up to 75 lbs.
Ability to climb ladders and rolling staircases
Experience operating pallet pump trucks
Creative troubleshooter and problem solver
Proven record for organizing and prioritizing daily tasks
Barcoding experience
Computer savvy and knowledge of MS Office
Experienced working safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
You will also need:
A valid driver's license.
The ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs.
Eligibility to work in Canada.
Experience working with mobility or medical equipment is considered an asset, but we will provide the training you need to succeed.
