The Finance & Economic Development department seeks a motivated individual to assist in managing the annual Operating Budget and Financial Plan. You'll engage with department heads for program analysis, perform budget evaluations, and contribute to ad hoc financial assessments. Success in this role requires at least three years in budget management, preferably in municipal government settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the annual Operating Budget and Revised Budget
• Support department heads with financial planning
• Perform detailed budget analysis on various revenue streams




• Conduct evaluations for shared municipal agencies
• Undertake ad hoc budgeting and analysis tasks as required

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of budget management experience
• Knowledge of Public Sector Accounting Board standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with financial management systems like PeopleSoft
• CPA designation or progress toward an accounting qualification preferred
