Join Strive Living Society as a Community Support Worker in West Kelowna, providing essential one-on-one support to individuals in need. Your work will focus on fostering independence and community inclusion.

In this role within our Supported Independent Living program, you will support adults with complex mental health needs and promote resilience through personalized care. This part time, casual position typically follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing meaningful interactions and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individualized support to adults in the community
• Facilitate successful integration through skills development
• Engage clients in community activities promoting independence




• Process unpredictable scenarios with professionalism
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care

Requirements:
• Experience with complex mental health and behavioral needs
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Minimum one year of relevant experience
• Knowledge of effective communication techniques
• Experience with trauma-informed approaches and de-escalation
