Fraser Health seeks a Community Care Licensing Officer to oversee child care facility compliance. Engage in inspections, community education, and ensuring adherence to legislation.

As a Licensing Officer, you will be responsible for evaluating child care facilities, conducting inspections, and addressing compliance issues throughout various locations in Fraser Health. Your role directly contributes to maintaining high standards of care for vulnerable populations, employing strong conflict resolution and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough inspections of care facilities
• Evaluate compliance with the Child Care Licensing Regulation
• Address and investigate reported incidents




• Plan educational programs for licensees and staff
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and investigations

Requirements:
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or similar field
• 3 years of experience in child care or licensing
• Valid Class V BC Driver's License
• Competency in legislation interpretation
• Robust communication and relationship-building skills
