This role focuses on empowering individuals living in staffed homes to become independent. Your skills in behavior management and communication will facilitate daily living activities, medication administration, and the development of Personal Service Plans. You will ensure that health, safety, and personal growth are prioritized in the care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respect and advocate for clients' rights
• Implement development plans in collaboration with clients
• Support daily living, medication management,
and documentation
• Foster relationships with families and professionals
• Contribute to maintaining a clean living environment
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 and relevant diploma
• Minimum of 2 years in social services
• Emergency First Aid/CPR and Food Protected certifications
• Criminal clearance and driver's license required
• Moderate computer proficiency needed
