Join the Human Services team as the Prevention Program Manager in Merritt, BC. This full-time position focuses on leading creative prevention initiatives while ensuring culturally safe service delivery.
As a key player in this role, you will supervise staff, coordinate programs, and identify community needs to enhance the health and safety of the Lower Nicola Indian Band. Your leadership will foster collaboration with community members and support continuous improvement in service delivery practices. Engage with diverse stakeholders to create impactful community-based projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of prevention programming
• Monitor service delivery and identify continuous improvement areas
• Collaborate with stakeholders to co-design prevention initiatives
• Prepare funding proposals and manage program budgets
• Lead accreditation and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Master's degree in a related field preferred
• At least five years of progressive leadership experience
• Proven track record in community engagement and program evaluation
• Knowledge of trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License required
