This full time position begins on October 1, 2026. You will work with Dr. Amanda Fowler-Woods and the HDRN Indigenous Data Team to develop strategies that promote Indigenous data governance. Your role encompasses conducting literature reviews, writing academic papers, and engaging with community leaders to enhance data practices in health research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement strategic plans for Indigenous data initiatives
• Engage community and academic partners in research
• Conduct literature reviews on Indigenous governance practices
• Prepare funding proposals for research projects
• Organize and lead stakeholder meetings
Requirements:
• Doctorate or Master’s degree with relevant experience
• Background in Indigenous health or data governance
• Knowledge of Truth and Reconciliation principles
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
