In this position, you will collaborate with Project Managers and carry out various environmental assessments across the prairie provinces. You will be responsible for supervising drilling techniques, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and compiling comprehensive reports on findings. Your ability to mentor junior professionals will also be key in this role, contributing positively to team dynamics and project successes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and supervise environmental site assessments
• Monitor field sampling and drilling activities thoroughly
• Document results of investigations in detailed reports
• Interpret data against regulatory standards
• Lead assessments and remediation of hazardous materials
Requirements:
• Technical Diploma or degree in environmental science
• Experience in soil and groundwater sampling (3+ years)
• Familiarity with contaminated site environments
• Membership as E.I.T. or G.I.T. preferred
• Solid attention to detail with MS Office proficiency
