Collaborate in the management, monitoring and optimization of cost of goods sold and manufacturing costs
Develop, track and analyze financial and operational performance indicators
Work with production teams to analyze operational flows and make recommendations for improvement
Prepare strategic financial analyses to support management decision-making
Serve as the financial resource person for the Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation project
Participate in the review, validation and optimization of the chart of accounts and ledgers
Ensure the integrity of financial data, the implementation of internal controls and the standardization of processes
Support the full accounting cycle and participate in monthly and annual closings
Monitor administrative and financial practices to ensure their efficiency
Report directly to the Vice President, Finance as part of a small, dynamic and stable team
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
5 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP or equivalent)
Excellent knowledge of Excel
Proven expertise in cost accounting and management accounting
Comfortable engaging with shop-floor realities and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Sharp analytical skills and robust attention to detail
Ability to quickly identify and communicate issues
Ability to simplify financial information and tailor communication to different audiences
CPA designation is an asset
Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and ERP system implementation, particularly with Oracle NetSuite. Proven ability to optimize financial processes and collaborate effectively with production teams in a manufacturing environment.
