In the Horizon Mine Survey team, your role will focus on delivering exact survey layouts and supporting various mine operations. You will work closely with engineering designs while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be pivotal in conducting volume reconciliations and maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct weekly reconciliations of ore and waste volumes
• Create precise survey layouts for construction phases
• Monitor and verify surveys for both in-pit and ex-pit structures




• Provide ongoing survey support to Mine Operations daily
• Collaborate with Mine Geotechnical and Geology departments

Requirements:
• Geomatics Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent
• Minimum five years in oil sands mining preferred
• Knowledge of Maptek survey scanners desirable
• Proficient in PointStudio and Microsoft Office
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
