BCIT’s School of Energy is looking for a full-time BCGEU Faculty member in Power Engineering programs. This dynamic role demands a First Class Power Engineer certification and offers the chance to prepare and present lectures while interacting with key industry players. The position also provides support in developing teaching skills and encourages teamwork and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in Power Engineering programs across various formats
• Prepare and present classroom lectures and lab projects
• Develop relevant learning materials for courses




• Monitor and enhance online course offerings
• Collaborate with industries to deliver site-specific training

Requirements:
• First Class Standardized Power Engineer certification required
• Minimum five years of related industrial experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Instructional experience or course development preferred
