Our team is highly collaborative and exceptionally motivated to continue to develop a fast growing section of the organization. This role will be responsible for working within our local electrical team and designing project across various sectors such as commercial, institutional, educational, and healthcare while under the guidance of a senior engineer.
You will be able to work in a hybrid mode from the Vancouver Downtown Office.
Primary Responsibilities Design, drafting, and modelling of electrical systems for buildings including lighting, lighting controls, power distribution,



communication, security, and fire alarm.
Working with engineers to ensure that design aspects have been incorporated.
Coordination with other building disciplines.
Design calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
Site visits to review existing site conditions or for documentation of ongoing construction projects.
Continued professional development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities.
Qualifications University degree in electrical engineering with 4 years of experience.
Eligible to registry with EGBC as in EIT
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint. REVIT is an asset
Experience on healthcare would be an asset.
Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written)
Strong project management skills
Analytical, thorough, resourceful and detail-oriented
Strong sense of personal responsibility and self starter
Valid Canadian drivers license.
Salary and Working Conditions The expected salary for this position is based on the richness and diversity of the candidate's experience, training, skills and internal equity. The position or associated salary could vary depending on the profile of the candidate.
