Join the District of Lake Country as a full-time Utility Operator, focusing on the effective management of water systems. This role is based in Lake Country, BC.

As a key player in the Utilities team, you will manage the operation, maintenance, and repair of essential water distribution systems under the guidance of the Utilities Manager. This position demands excellent technical skills and the ability to foster robust working relationships while addressing the community's needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and repairs of water systems
• Supervise the operation of pump and pressure regulation
• Manage treatment facilities and associated infrastructure
• Work on the construction of waterworks projects
• Liaise with other District departments when necessary

Requirements:
• One year towards a diploma in water engineering technology
• Minimum one year of experience in a related field
• Must be eligible for Water Operator EOCP certification
• Chlorine Handlers Certificate or qualifications required
• Possess a valid British Columbia Driver's License
