Group Summary
The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front‑end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

$75,000 - $85,000

Vacancy Status

Responsibilities

Administer and manage RFQ’s, quotes, program binders and files

Review customer RFQ packages and prepare on time and detailed quote response packages

Review contracts and resolve financial issues

Maintain Magna databases for GSD (Global Sales Data), and other software requirements

Maintain customer financial/quotation databases

Explain and defend proposals and quotations at the customer

Generate Quote Capital Approval (QCA) and review with Manager

Generate Tooling & ED&T; Purchase Orders pricing information to Program Team including Finance

TRANS4M: Price Updates/Maintenance, query shipping information, query B.O.M. and pricing master‑list

Maintain customer portal system for the assigned Customer(s):

FORD

G.P.I.R.S.: Global prototype inventory requisitioning and scheduling, access shipping requirements to expedite prototype shipping, red‑bordering prototypes that cannot be shipped (late date, material shortage, etc.)

Ford Service FCSD: Update service pricing, quotes including packaging

ARIBA/Ford WebQuote: Request for quotes, tool tracking, purchase order documents retrieval system

Obsolescence: Make obsolescence claims when applicable

CPV2: Capacity Planning Volume, Ford

Responsible for capacity studies

Ford Tooling,



Picture and Tag updates in Tooling Tracking

Quote responsibility for VA/VE ideas

Alert, making claims when applicable

STELLANTIS

Change Notice: Update costs and timing for engineering changes, update necessary documents on Tool verification sub‑tab to expedite payment for tooling

Capacity Management: Update capacity requirements per Chrysler’s volume variances, update and analyze Trapline (What‑If) studies

Responsible for capacity studies

Material Cost Management (MCM); Quote responsibility for VA/VE ideas

Mopar Oddbox Direct Electronic Linkage (Model): query and update service parts P/N lists and its production equivalent

Production Request for Quote (webRFQ/GST): request for quotes

Purchase Order Inquire: Query for Purchase pricing‑piece price, packaging clauses, etc. (Chrysler internal system)

TOYOTA

Prototype Screens, Purchase Orders

Quote responsibility for VA/VE ideas

GENERAL MOTORS

Prototype Screens, Purchase Orders

Familiar with 1804c & 1810 Documents

Quote responsibility for VA/VE ideas

SUPPLY POWER

Pre‑Production Part Schedule

Maintain and update Service Parts System: quotations, purchase orders, engineering level changes

Update Quotes GDimps

Devote time to preparing alternate proposals to quotations, VA/VE type ideas in conjunction with other departments Quote responsibility for VA/VE ideas

Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace

Comply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIP

Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct

Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior

Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF16949 standards

Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook

Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives





Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards

Ensure work area is kept neat and organized

Perform other duties as required

Qualifications
Education

Minimum completion of college diploma in Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent technical background

Experience

Experience in automotive industry

Minimum 3-4 Years’ of experience in Quoting

Skills

Solid Finance knowledge

Understanding of Injection Moulded plastic parts

Good verbal and written communication skills

Excellent computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs

Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems

Strong interpersonal skills

Well‑developed organizational and time management skills

Ability to travel out of country as required
