The Economic Development & Culture Division seeks an Adult Art Instructor for advanced pottery programs. Your responsibilities will include planning, instructing, and evaluating art classes, while providing hands-on demonstrations and critiques. This role involves educating students on safety protocols and promoting the program, ensuring a safe and creative setting for all participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute advanced pottery classes for adults • Provide hands-on studio demonstrations and critiques • Teach Health & Safety procedures relevant to pottery • Keep class attendance and report weekly to administration • Promote program information alongside management
Requirements: • Minimum 18 years of age • Significant teaching experience in art at the adult level • Extensive technical knowledge in pottery • Degree or diploma in art or equivalent • First Aid certification and Police Reference Check required
