Empower women in transition as a Client Support Worker at AG Safe House in Kelowna. This full time role focuses on crisis intervention, life skills, and resource navigation.

As a Client Support Worker, you will provide direct support to individuals experiencing challenging situations like homelessness and domestic violence. This position emphasizes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and stabilizing conditions that enable residents to foster independence. Ideal candidates will be compassionate and adaptable.

Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome residents and provide inclusive support
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized support plans
• Offer referrals to resources for health and counseling




• Maintain safe and clean shelter operations
• Document interactions and maintain confidentiality

Requirements:
• Diploma in Social Services or a related field
• At least one year of experience in emergency shelter or crisis intervention
• Solid understanding of mental health and trauma issues
• Effective conflict resolution and communication skills
• Certifications in First Aid and Naloxone training preferred
