In this key role reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, you will spearhead initiatives for health and safety compliance, enhancing the site's safety management systems. Collaborate daily with operational teams, driving safety metrics and promoting accountability. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections, assessing risks, and coordinating emergency response planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and improve safety management systems
• Conduct inspections and monitor performance metrics
• Engage in incident investigations and corrective actions




• Facilitate safety orientation and training for staff
• Maintain compliance with industry standards

Requirements:
• Extensive experience (6+ years) in health and safety roles
• Knowledge of mining safety regulations in British Columbia
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety
