WesTower is hiring a Hydrovac Operator to ensure safety and efficiency in utility excavation projects. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy outdoor work.
As part of the WesTower Wireline operations team, the Hydrovac Operator will report to the Construction Manager and focus on safe, autonomous equipment operation with a minimum requirement of one year in the field. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting are required to adapt to various site conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform secure and effective utility excavation using hydrovac equipment
• Manage and lift equipment and materials over 100 pounds
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a professional demeanor
• Be ready to assist with other labor tasks as needed
• Collaboratively work with team members for project success
Requirements:
• Valid AB Class 3 license (Class 1 preferred)
• Ground Disturbance II certification necessary
• One year of hydrovac operating experience
• Reliable and motivated self-starter
• Willing to travel and work in diverse weather conditions
