Permacon seeks a qualified Machine Operator for its Metcalfe, Ontario site, with both rotating and weekend shifts available. Use your manufacturing skills to ensure top-notch output in concrete product operations.

In this role at Permacon, you will be responsible for managing operations of key machinery, including the Rekers machine and equipment related to wrapping and strapping. The ideal candidate will have two years of relevant experience and will be prepared to maintain product quality and machine functioning effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage machine operations and quality assessments
• Execute equipment setup and preventive maintenance
• Document daily production and quality reports
• Communicate issues regarding machinery or production
• Uphold cleanliness in work areas and equipment

Requirements:
• High school diploma is required
• At least two years’ experience operating machinery
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus
• Successful completion of a mechanical aptitude test
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting
