Contribute significantly to donor engagement as a Legacy Giving and Fundraising Officer at The Salvation Army. You will manage strategic donor relationships and enhance philanthropic initiatives within our communities.

This role focuses on the donor development cycle, emphasizing stewardship of major gift prospects. As part of a cooperative team, you will cultivate long-lasting donor relationships while implementing a robust engagement strategy tailored to individual donor interests.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a robust pipeline of both revocable and irrevocable planned gifts
• Collaborate on donor engagement tactics with organizational teams
• Conduct meetings and prepare detailed reports and proposals




• Promote awareness of philanthropic programs offered by The Salvation Army
• Keep comprehensive donor records in Raiser’s Edge NXT

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in relevant field
• Preferably working toward CFRE certification
• Exceptional communication skills for donor relations
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Demonstrated capability in managing multiple priorities
