Halifax Water is seeking two full-time Operational Technology (OT) Technicians I. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in instrumentation, PLC programming, and SCADA systems. Key responsibilities include managing control systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring operational efficiency in vital infrastructures. You will work with advanced technologies to maintain safety and security across our services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor SCADA systems for operational status and alarms
• Support operations with booster pumping equipment testing




• Maintain and operate daily water booster stations
• Install and troubleshoot various instrumentation systems
• Implement cybersecurity measures within control systems

Requirements:
• Grade 12 plus Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualifications
• Minimum two years' experience with SCADA and PLC systems
• Specialized training in SCADA and HMI applications
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics
• Willingness to perform after-hours emergency duties
