Contribute to the District of West Vancouver as a Labourer in the Engineering Construction Department. This full-time temporary position focuses on vital road maintenance activities.

We are seeking individuals who show a robust commitment to public service. In this role, you will be responsible for tasks such as street repairs, assisting with winter operations, and managing traffic control. Successful candidates will demonstrate teamwork and efficiency in a physically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform street maintenance including pothole repairs
• Assist in snow plowing and salting operations
• Support traffic control with TCP qualifications
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools




• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facility cleanliness

Requirements:
• Experience in landscaping or road maintenance is preferred
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License is essential
• TCP certification and heavy equipment experience are assets
• Ability to work outdoors under varying weather conditions
• Physical fitness for manual labor activities
