Position Summary

Responsible for operating, installing, repairing, and upgrading digital printing technologies. Operate a wide array of digital printing equipment, support equipment and printing a variety of materials using some of the most sophisticated printers on the market. Conduct all duties in a manner that ensures the support, processes, and maintenance of the digital printing department and equipment. Maintains printing equipment and department operating effectively by troubleshooting, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and the capability to make judgement calls on when escalation of repairs are necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Operates digital printing technologies.

· Provide support to the digital team in support, processing, and maintenance.

· Loads, runs and unloads materials and jobs on prototype and production digital printers and support equipment.

· Processes orders and audits of print products.

· Prepares and maintains an inventory of tools, printed parts and tests performed.

· Assists project team in completing projects.

· Attends and participates in group and project meetings.

· Complies with policies, rules and regulations, and reporting requirements related to health and safety, performance standards, operating procedures, processes, and training.

· Review the equipment and evaluate its ability to deliver quality.

· Communicate with the project leads to confirm that all the resources required are available.

· Study the schematics and blueprints to learn the configuration and methods of printer technologies.

· Record and report the test results and notify them about the defects and inconsistencies, if any.





· Take care that the products comply with the safety measures and do not pose a threat to the user.

· Test, repair and upgrade the machinery and repairing instruments to maintain efficiency.

· Operates direct to film equipment according to specifications listed on written/printed orders; matches customer orders to materials in terms of style, color, and size.

· Flexibility to rotate between departments and jobs on an as-needed basis.

· Organizing orders daily into top priorities.

· Updating templates using Adobe Illustrator with names, dates, and colors according to notes on orders.

· Runs, adjusts, and troubleshoots production equipment and machinery.

· Be a team player by assisting and supporting other coworkers as needed.

· Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant concerns. Identifies problems and provides suggestions.

· Must be able to perform production satisfactorily in accordance with company productivity and quality requirements.

· Must be able to work at a fast pace, experiment, and show a level of independent creativity.
