Drive health system engagement as the Manager of the Advisory Councils Secretariat with Alberta's Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services. This full-time role is located in Calgary or Edmonton, overseeing council operations and stakeholder involvement.

You will lead operations supporting 14 regional advisory councils, ensuring effective governance and logistical planning. This position calls for strong leadership to manage team dynamics while advising on critical health policy issues. Your role includes fostering team-oriented relationships and enhancing council capacity to advise on health priorities throughout the province.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Secretariat operations to support councils effectively
• Provide supervision and leadership to the team




• Organize council meetings and stakeholder engagement
• Build collaborative relationships across multiple sectors
• Drive initiatives for operational improvement and effectiveness

Requirements:
• University degree in relevant fields with four years of experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license required
• Willingness to travel within Alberta as needed
• Experience with diverse stakeholder groups
• Understanding of local health systems preferred
