Step into a leading role at Nature United as the Associate Director of Philanthropy. Drive conservation efforts by securing major gifts and building lasting donor relationships in a flexible Canadian setting.
As a key member of the Major Gifts team, you'll manage a portfolio of high-potential prospects and donors, focusing on developing multi-year fundraising strategies. Your role involves collaborating with internal teams to refine messaging and proposals, ensuring alignment with Nature United’s initiatives such as Indigenous-led conservation and sustainable resource management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of 75-125 donors with $100,000+ potential
• Achieve an annual fundraising goal of $1,000,000+
• Develop strategies for engaging and cultivating major donors
• Lead efforts in creating compelling proposals and reports
• Support donor events that build trust and engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience
• Proven track record in securing gifts of $25,000+
• Experience managing donor relationships and multiple prospects
• Skilled in cross-functional team collaboration
• Knowledge of fundraising principles and practices
