Overview

LiquiForce Services is seeking a Construction Manager to support our Edmonton operations. This role owns day-to-day field execution – crew supervision and training, field scheduling and KPI management, on-site safety and subcontractor oversight, inventory management, and incident/emergency response. The Construction Manager works closely with the Project Manager, who owns overall project scope, schedule, and financial accountability, providing field-level input to support planning and reporting.

Role

The Construction Manager is responsible for leading field operations on assigned projects from pre-construction planning through close-out. This includes supervising crews, coordinating subcontractors, managing on-site safety and quality, and responding to incidents and emergencies as they arise. The Construction Manager ensures crews, equipment, and materials are planned and deployed effectively to complete projects safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Supervise field crews and manage day-to-day site execution across assigned projects
- Oversee field scheduling, traffic control, and permitting to keep projects on track
- Lead daily and weekly KPI reviews to monitor field performance and drive cost mitigation
- Manage crew composition, training,



succession planning, guidance, and disciplinary actions
- Oversee inventory management for permanent stock, consumables, resins/additives, and office and facility supplies
- Conduct subcontractor site orientations and complete HSE inspections and paperwork
- Support pre-project planning, including risk and opportunity identification, work-plan mapping, and PM-to-operations hand-off
- Retain and organize field paperwork and documentation
- Coordinate and track project rework
- Lead HSE incident response and serve as first point of contact for the 24-hour homeowner hotline, including styrene, backup, and homeowner inquiries
- Supervise open-cut work on-site and coordinate small-drain rework and emergency excavation subcontractors
- Support project-level cost mitigation, client and internal issue-list resolution, and monthly subcontractor performance tracking
- Participate in project close-out, including returning/closing rentals, lessons-learned reviews, punch-list close-out, and final site walks and sign-offs with clients
- Partner closely with the Project Manager to support overall project planning and reporting
