Baker – Day Shift

Location: North York, ON (near 401/400)
Compensation: $23.00–$25.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Baker to join a growing food manufacturing operation in North York. The successful candidate will have hands-on commercial baking experience, including experience operating large mixers and rack ovens, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hot production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and mix dough and other bakery products using large commercial mixers.
- Operate and monitor rack ovens to ensure products are baked to specification.
- Follow recipes, production procedures, and quality standards.
- Monitor baking times, temperatures, and product quality.
- Safely operate bakery equipment and report any equipment issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production area.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production targets.

Qualifications

- Previous commercial or industrial baking experience required.
- Large mixer experience is required.




- Rack oven experience is required.
- Strong understanding of baking processes, dough handling, and oven operation.
- Comfortable working in a hot production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
