Located in downtown Winnipeg at The Forks, TRAF is seeking a Manager, Investment Reporting & Compliance to join their Finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer & Chief Risk Officer, this role is responsible for investment administration and reporting, performance measurement, treasury management, compliance monitoring and custodian oversight to support the long‑term sustainability of the pension plan.

As the Manager, Investment Reporting & Compliance, you will:

- Manage custodian activities, including:
- Opening new accounts and trading jurisdictions;
- Monitoring global proxies, securities pricing, class action settlements and tax reclaims; and
- Monitoring the securities lending program to ensure compliance with policies.
- Assist in the analysis and preparation of foreign (opt in) class actions.
- Manage daily liquidity and cash forecast models. Complete cash activity and foreign exchange transactions, as required, to ensure funding requirements for investment commitments and portfolio rebalancing are met.
- Manage portfolio rebalancing activities.
- Prepare and oversee annual and periodic investment reporting, including returns analysis, asset class reporting and other materials.
- Manage the independent performance measurement service provider relationship, including the review and reconciliation of investment performance reporting.
- Oversee private investment reporting in Burgiss, including reconciliation activities.
- Monitor compliance with TRAF's SIP&P;, investment mandates and asset allocation requirements. Identify actual or potential compliance concerns.




- Assist with the preparation of investment-related notes for annual financial statements and support other investment accounting activities as required.
- Oversee the completion of various investment surveys and support presentation of results to the Investment Committee or other stakeholders.

You and Your Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in investment operations, treasury management, investment reporting, institutional asset management, pension administration or a similarly complex investment environment.
- Post-secondary degree in accounting, finance, business administration or economics.
- CPA, CFA or CIPM designation is considered an asset.
- Robust analytical, financial and problem-solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with investment reporting, performance measurement and portfolio management systems.
