Duties

- Safely operate delivery trucks and heavy equipment to transport freight efficiently across designated routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy machinery, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight
- Verify delivery orders, inspect vehicles for safety issues, and perform basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain optimal vehicle performance
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams to confirm delivery schedules and address any logistical challenges promptly
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and vehicles, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
- Assist in warehouse operations by preparing freight for delivery,



organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation
- Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods with professionalism, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations in transportation
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and customers effectively
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and operate heavy machinery safely
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is highly desirable

Pay: Up to $31.19 per hour
