The Town of Qu’Appelle is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Town Foreman.

Regular hours are Monday to Friday 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. with some overtime required when necessary.

The successful applicant must possess a minimum Grade 12/GED, have some experience in the operation of heavy equipment, carpentry, and be suitable for a degree of physical labour. The right person must have or be willing to obtain Class 1 certification in Water & Wastewater Systems, as well as an air brake endorsement.

Duties include maintenance and operation of municipal water and sewer infrastructure, operating and maintaining town owned equipment, maintaining streets and removing snow, accurately maintaining records, working with and without supervision.
