Honorarium Position
Encourage students to contribute towards pediatric medicine, raising funds and awareness for initiatives that provide a welcoming and beneficial workplace for children who may be facing health difficulties. Organize committee members and volunteers in an engaging manner, help to execute events and initiatives throughout the year, and work to make a tangible impact on youth who are involved. Work closely with your Co-Chair, the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners, and the Community Outreach Commissioner to make a tangible and lasting impact in the Queen’s community

Expected Time Commitment and Remuneration

12-month term from May 1st, 2025 to April 30th, 2026 with a time commitment of 5 hours/week

Duties and Responsibilities

- Organize weekly meetings with the committee
- Work with your co-chair and committee to organize and execute events and initiatives
- Hire committee members and volunteers and act as a liaison between all parties
- Maintain contact with the Community Outreach Deputy Commissioners and the Community Outreach Commissioner to best access ASUS resources
- Assist in Commission-wide meetings, events and initiatives
