Oversee road and spoil conditions at Elk Valley Resources, emphasizing safety and efficiency. Engage in autonomous haulage system management in this on-site supervisory role.
The Supervisor, Road and Spoils will report to the Senior Supervisor of Operations and manage dump conditions, ensuring adherence to safety standards and Geotechnical practices. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be adept at collaborating with various teams within the mining sector. This role operates on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule across days and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high safety standards for all dump operations
• Manage monitoring equipment setup and interpret GeoExplorer data




• Work closely with Pit Supervisors on operational logistics
• Identify and manage risks in the Autonomous Operating Zone
• Perform audits as necessary to maintain operational integrity
Requirements:
• At least two years of mining field experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite®
• Understanding of autonomous hauling operations is beneficial
• Must possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
