In this community-based role, you will offer prevention, intervention, and mentorship services inspired by the principles of the Cree Way of Life. Your work will primarily involve direct engagement with clients (80%) and administrative responsibilities (20%). You'll facilitate workshops that encourage personal growth, crisis response, and maintain thorough client records while collaborating with families and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor young women and promote healthy relationship dynamics • Facilitate workshops that enhance personal development • Assist clients in connecting with essential community services • Collaborate with families to support youth well-being • Keep accurate and detailed client records
Requirements: • Diploma or certificate in Human Services or equivalent • Experience in a similar support role • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and acceptable abstract • Explicit Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector • Combined education and experience may be accepted
