In this position, you will join EnviroCentre's mission to enhance home energy efficiency across Ottawa and Eastern Ontario. You will be responsible for installing insulation and air sealing systems while ensuring top-notch customer service. Candidates with construction experience are preferred, but we are willing to train dedicated individuals looking to grow their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install insulation in walls, attics, and crawl spaces
• Set up work areas and ensure cleanliness and safety
• Interpret drawings and instructions for effective project completion
• Utilize hand and power tools to customize materials
• Conduct simple air leak tests as needed
Requirements:
• Completed high school education or equivalent
• Competent in using both hand tools and ladders
• Capacity to work indoors and outdoors under various conditions
• Attentive to details and capable of clear communication
• Advocate for environmental protection and community sustainability
