Strait Richmond Hospital is looking for two Emergency Medicine Physicians. Provide high-quality emergency care in Richmond County, Nova Scotia, in a community-centered setting.
In this role, you will perform full emergency services, cover shifts, and respond to medical calls. Teamwork with interdisciplinary services like palliative care and physiotherapy is a priority. Professionalism and adherence to the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority are required to support excellent patient outcomes in this Level 3 emergency department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive emergency care within the Eastern Zone
• Participate in shifts and medical call responses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare staff




• Uphold the quality of practice as per regulations
• Maintain strong professional responsibilities
Requirements:
• Required certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS
• Mandatory advanced airway training
• Full-time or locum options available for qualified individuals
• Strong commitment to the standards of medical practice
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
