COURSE POSTING, COURSE LECTURER/INSTRUCTORPosting and application period: : June 1-14, 2026 (this job posting will expire at midnight on June 13) Hiring unit: Farm Management and Technology Program Course subject code and title: FMTP 086 Humanities 2: World Views Session: Fall 2026: August 24 to December 18, 2026 (The McGill exam sessions take place over two weeks after the end of classes, and Course Lecturer are expected to be available on the day of a scheduled final exam and are required to grade final exams as part of their contract).Schedule: Lecture – Tuesday 2:30 – 5:30 Salary : $11,342.19Teaching Qualification RequirementsEducation: Master's degree in a field of study relevant to the course subject matter.Experience: Prior teaching experience at the college level, with this or similar 102 (World Views) Humanities courses, with evidence of effective teaching.Relevant non-teaching experience (presentations, workshops, field days, professional consultation, etc) or qualified practice will also be considered.Other: A lecturer who has taught the course twice previously, is considered to meet the TQR's.Before applying, please note that to work at McGill University, you must be both authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
