THE ROLE

The Project Director, Identity and Access Management (IAM), serves as the business champion and executive lead for enterprise identity modernization initiatives. The incumbent is accountable for ensuring IAM projects deliver the intended business outcomes, align with organizational priorities, and support the organization's security, compliance, operational efficiency, and digital transformation objectives. The Project Director provides strategic leadership throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing stakeholder engagement, business readiness, governance, change management, and executive communications. Working closely with business leaders,



technical architects, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and project delivery teams, the Project Director ensures the successful implementation and adoption of identity management capabilities across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

College diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field AND several years of experience in information management and information technology or a related field

Experience

In leading the delivery of IM/IT initiatives

In IM/IT solutions management

In planning, evaluating and advancing IM/IT network, systems, security projects

In developing requirements for core IM/IT systems

In the product development lifecycle

In managing stakeholders and third party providers

In delivering distributed IM/IT systems

In negotiating and managing contracts for IM/IT services

In technical and business documentation

In project lifecycle

In project scope and change management in multi-technology environments

In Request for Proposal (RFP) development and execution

In personnel administration

In budget administration

Competencies, Skills and Abilities

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

English or French Essential, Bilingual an asset

Reading: Advanced

Writing: Functional

Oral: Advanced

OTHER INFORMATION

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.

This position is a one-year term.

You may be eligible to receive a Scarce Skills Premium for this position as outlined in the IT Scarce Skills Compensation Agreement.
