In this full-time temporary position, you will engage with clients facing significant barriers due to addiction and mental health issues. Your background in community social services and experience teaching life skills will be invaluable. Collaborate with various professionals while advocating for health equity and empowerment within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver outreach support to individuals with addiction issues
• Facilitate life skills training sessions




• Implement individualized care plans under qualified supervision
• Assist clients in overcoming barriers to recovery
• Promote positive change and independence among clients
Requirements:
• Minimum two years’ experience in addiction/mental health support
• Post-secondary certification in addiction counseling or equivalent
• Current First Aid and CPR (level C) certification
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• FoodSafe Certification
