About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Engineering to lead the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of its integrated SaaS platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing software engineering, quality assurance, and systems administration, with a focus on evolving the engineering operating model to include AI-enabled software development. This role requires a leader who can partner with the CTO, product management, and business leaders to prioritize engineering initiatives and ensure the technical strategy aligns with business objectives. The VP, Engineering will also be tasked with modernizing software quality practices, establishing engineering performance metrics,



and leading the adoption of AI and automation across the development lifecycle.

Applicants for the VP, Engineering position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in software engineering, technology operations, or software delivery leadership, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. The role demands a robust background in contemporary AI-assisted software engineering tools and techniques, as well as experience in leading the adoption of AI-enabled practices. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, and a background in GovTech, municipal technology, enterprise SaaS, asset management, ERP, or public sector software is considered an asset. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building and leading high-performing engineering organizations, with a focus on modern software delivery practices, and the ability to balance technical priorities with business objectives.
