Job Title: Project Control Officer (PCO) – System MigrationDuration:12-Month ContractLocation:Toronto, ONOur banking client is seeking a detail-orientedProject Control Officer (PCO)to support the successful delivery of a criticalsystem migration initiative. The PCO will play a key role in ensuring strong project governance, risk and issue management, and compliance with RBC’s project management standards and regulatory requirements. This role provides critical support to theProject Management Office (PMO)and project leadership teams.Key ResponsibilitiesProject GovernanceEnsure adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and controls.Monitor project deliverables, milestones, and documentation for quality and completeness.Support PMO processes and governance forums.Identify, track, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.Maintain risk and issue logs and ensure timely escalation and mitigation.Reporting & MetricsDevelop and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and KPIs.Track progress against scope, schedule, budget, and resource plans.Provide insights and recommendations based on project performance data.Change ControlManage scope changes through formal change request and approval processes.Ensure change impacts are assessed and documented.Compliance & ControlsEnsure project activities align with RBC internal policies, governance standards,



and regulatory requirements.Support audit and compliance reviews as required.Stakeholder SupportCollaborate with project managers, business leads, technology teams, and auditors.Promote transparency, accountability, and clear communication across stakeholders.Project Controls & Governance:Strong experience in project governance, reporting, and control processes.Analytical & Reporting Skills:Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.Tools & Technology:Project management tools: MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet (or equivalent); Reporting tools: Power BI, Excel (advanced).Communication:Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting.Attention to Detail:High accuracy in tracking budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables.Financial Services Knowledge:Experience within banking or regulated environments is a strong asset.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.Certifications:PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.Experience:5+ years of experience in project controls, PMO, or similar roles; Proven experiencesupporting system migration, IT transformation, or large-scale initiatives; Financial services industry experience is highly desirable.Technical Acumen:Solid understanding of project lifecycles, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.Soft Skills:Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in rapid-paced environments.#J-18808-Ljbffr
