Overview

Insight Global is seeking a Field Electrical Technician for hands-on field support for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment at customer sites. This role is heavily field-based and ideal for someone comfortable working directly with electrical systems in real-world environments. This position is 5 days onsite (travel).

Required Skills and Experience

- 3–5 years of total experience
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrodynamics, or Industrial Electricity
- Minimum 2 years working with electrical equipment from 600V to 35kV (medium voltage)
- Experience with medium-voltage circuit breakers (vacuum, air, and/or gas-insulated)
- Robust field experience with a wide range of electrical equipment
- Fluent French
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to travel frequently





NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Spoken English
- Transformer experience (field or assembly plant)
- High-voltage experience

COMPENSATION

$80K - $100K per year + full benefits packages

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
