Become a Physiotherapy Assistant dedicated to providing rehabilitation services in a Long-Term Care Home. Collaborate closely with a Physiotherapist to help improve Residents' functional independence.
In this role, you will implement the tailored treatment plans directed by the supervising Physiotherapist, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for Residents. Key Responsibilities:
• Follow Resident-Centered Care Plans and treatment goals
• Lead exercise classes for group rehabilitation
• Keep rehabilitation equipment clean and maintained
• Facilitate regular communication with Physiotherapist
• Contribute to ongoing quality improvement assessments
Requirements:
• Diploma from an OTA/PTA Program or equivalent
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check upon hiring
• Up-to-date vaccinations as required
• Experience in evidence-based rehabilitation practices
• Must have a valid driver's license
