Join the dynamic team at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton as a Recreation Facility Operator I. Your focus will be on maintaining recreational facilities and leading casual staff on weekends.
In this full time capacity, you will support both internal and external recreational users through effective facility operations. Responsibilities include monitoring facility conditions, equipment care, and risk management practices to ensure safety. This role requires you to manage daily operations across a variety of spaces such as hardwood courts and classrooms while reporting to the Recreation Facility Operator Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily operations in various facility areas
• Lead casual staff for events during evening hours




• Perform maintenance on recreational equipment
• Oversee event setups and take down processes
• Ensure risk management and building access controls
Requirements:
• Relevant experience in facility management or support
• Flexibility to work varied shifts throughout the week
• Excellent leadership and organizational abilities
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service
• Previous experience in a sports environment preferred
