For over three decades, we have provided innovative building automation solutions for commercial, healthcare, education, and leisure facilities.Job SummaryThe DVV Lab Technician’s primary responsibility is to assist the DVV verification and validation team in the construction, wiring, maintenance, modification, and repair of test infrastructure and systems.Occasionally, the DVV Lab Technician will help with testing and monitoring of Delta products.The DVV Lab Technician is an extremely hands‑on role. Success in this role requires a robust technical aptitude as well as a creative, problem‑solving mindset.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreating, building and maintaining test jigsFabricating components using CNC routers and 3D printersWiring test walls and fixtures according to wiring diagrams/schematicsEnsuring workshop and lab work spaces are kept neat and orderlyPerforming routine checks of lab equipment and facilities to ensure correct operationRegularly checking stock levels of shop supplies and re-ordering when necessaryCarrying out preventative maintenance on shop and lab equipmentPerforming testing using established proceduresDocumentation, picture taking and storing recordsAssisting with inspections of components and GD&T as neededHelping the DVV team as neededJob RequirementsAdept in the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire cutters, etc.Comfortable in the safe use of power tools such as saws and drillsAble to connect components together based on a rough wiring diagram or sketchFamiliar with Windows-based PCs and the Microsoft productivity suite (Outlook, Word,
