The BCIT School of Construction and the Environment seeks a faculty member for their Electrical program. In this role, you will be responsible for teaching multiple courses, including Electrical Foundation and part time students. Your duties will encompass preparing instructional material, evaluating student progress, and contributing to program improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach courses to prepare students for the electrical trades
• Deliver engaging lectures and practical lab instruction
• Support students with counseling and academic guidance




• Oversee curriculum development and program updates
• Work closely with other staff to foster a supportive learning atmosphere
Requirements:
• BC Trades Certificate with Red Seal certification required
• At least five years in a journeyman position
• Supervisor experience and teaching background preferred
• Knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting techniques
• Effective interpersonal skills and a passion for education
