McNair Electric is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a full-time electrician. The ideal candidate would; have a strong work ethic, ability to work independently, adapt to changing work environments, polite and personable with clients, punctual, and the ability to troubleshoot and make in office decisions.
Job Duties (required but not limited to):
- Demonstrates commitment to safety in the workplace
- Comfortable working in a high end residential setting
- Install wiring and electrical components in accordance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and the Electrical Safety Authority codes and standards
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and malfunctioning systems and in turn repair and correct any issues that have been encountered
- Must ensure all finished work is completed to the company’s standard, the site drawings and electrical building codes
- Manages inventory of material and ensures the accurate billing of time and material to clients
- Works well in a team environment
- Solid written, oral communications, and organization skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work
- Willingness to learn and pursue ongoing education

Qualifications / Requirements:
- Must hold a valid 309A electrical license for the province of Ontario
- Must have a valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract
