Enhance user experience at MNP Community & Sport Centre as an Equipment Support Specialist in Fitness. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing fitness equipment while supporting a high standard of service.
This part-time position requires 5-6 hours weekly, with flexibility for call-ins as needed. Collaborating with the Fitness Coordinator and Manager, you will ensure that all fitness equipment is secure and functional. Your role will require proactive maintenance, as well as engagement with team members to provide troubleshooting and support during service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs
• Train staff on equipment care and maintenance
• Manage vendor interactions for equipment services




• Adhere to all safety and operational standards
• Track maintenance budgets and repairs effectively
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled or graduated in Kinesiology or related diplomas
• 2 years preferred leadership experience
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• CPR Level C and First Aid certification required within three months
