Urgent and Primary Care Centres (UPCC) provide care for people with urgent, non-life-threatening health concerns that need same-day care, but who don't require a visit to the emergency department. Medical staff and health‑care professionals provide team‑based care. The centres are an additional service in the community, working in concert with all touchpoints for care. VCH currently operates six UPCCs.
